The widely known and famous Tokaj wine is often referred to as " the king of wines and wine of kings", but people abroad know much less about the Tokaj Wine Region Historic Cultural Landscape itself and the everyday life of local people. The landscape, being present on UNESCO's World Heritage list, has now got a great opportunity to promote itself as part of UNESCO's project on sustainable food production, since it had been invited to take part on a multimedia exhibition in Venice as part of the programmes of Expo 2015 in Milan between May and October this year.
